The Massamont claims staff is dedicated to the handling of claims. By
leveraging our experience, we feel we are able to provide our customers
with industry leading claims management that results in a competitive
edge for our Brokers who sell our products.
Our
claims team consists of dedicated
and experienced front line claims professionals who make the real
difference in providing quality claims service to our customers. The
claims organization is comprised of thirty-five professionals located
in our Greenfield and Boston offices. We have six resident field
adjusters and three attorneys handling our more complex Auto, General
Liability and Professional Liability claims activity throughout New
England.
With this local
presence, we are able to better serve our customers by meeting with them
face to face when necessary as we strive to deliver superior claims
service. We are available to meet and discuss any claims issue with our
customers and we encourage periodic claim reviews to help keep our
Insureds and Brokers advised of their claim activity.
Our claims staff is
“on call” twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week should one of your
accounts experience an emergency claim situation requiring our response
and assistance.
When Do You Report a Claim?
As soon as possible.
When in doubt, send the incident or claim report to our claims office.
Please remember to report any incident or notice of a claim promptly.
This is especially important when dealing with incidents or claims that
may trigger coverage under one of our claims-made policies. Under the
claims-made forms, coverage is triggered when a claim for damages is
presented to the Insured or to Massamont rather than by a date of
occurrence.
